On Sunday, the story came out when Additional SP Antar Singh Kanesh and CSP Gaurav Patil ruled the theft near Pandumal intersection on March 7. Police have also recovered Rs 45,500 cash and gold, silver and diamond jewelery worth Rs 13 lakh 54 thousand 500 from the accused Nadeem. The victim Rajrani Mehta thanked the police when the stolen jewelery was recovered within seven days.
Was declared a reward of ten thousand
Additional SP Antar Singh Kanesh said that to solve this theft incident, SP Devendra Patidar had also declared a reward of ten thousand rupees on the arrest of the thief. Also, a team was formed under the leadership of CSP Gaurav Patil. In which Shikarpura police station in -charge Kamal Panwar, SI Hemendra Singh Chauhan, ASI Devendra Patil, Mehfooz Ali, CCTV control were included in ASI Murkarrame Khan etc. The informer system on the other hand was activated. Police also investigated CCTV footage of major places in the city.
Used to work in tea hotel
When the police collected information from the informers based on the footage from the CCTV camera, it was found that such a person works in a tea shop and lives in the new locality. On the basis of suspicion, the police interrogated Nadeem in custody, and he accepted the steal. It is said that Nadeem Rahtpur Shantinagar had committed more than 18 thieves at an early age while living in Bhiwandi district Thane. The police had recovered more than one crore jewelery and cash from him. Almost every police station had a picture of him, due to which he had started living in Burhanpur for some time and worked in a tea shop to show off. Earlier, he used to Reiki of listened houses and used to commit theft at night.
