Explosion in bus carrying security force, five killed

The bus carrying security forces exploded at Pakistan’s turbulent Balochistan’s Naushki. Five military officers died in the attack. While 12 military personnel were injured. According to media reports, the Baloch Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack. At the same time, the Government of Balochistan has condemned the attack.

Police said Pakistani army buses were carrying security forces. Local police chief Zafar Zamanani said that a roadside bomb exploded near a bus on Naushiki-Dalabandin highway in Naushiki district of Balochistan. Another bus near the explosion was also badly damaged. The dead and the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti condemned the attack. Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind said that targeting innocent citizens is a cruel act. Rind prayed for the early recovery of the injured and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. Rind said that enemies are trying to destabilize the country. People’s morale cannot be dropped through terror. We stand with the affected families in this hour of grief.

No organization has taken responsibility for the attack. However, the media report claims that the attack has been carried out by the Baloch Liberation Army.

The train was hijack
The Zafar Express, which left from Quetta to Peshawar on Tuesday, was taken hostage by the rebels in a tunnel near the hilly areas of Gudra and Piru Kunri. The rebels blew the track and captured it as soon as the train stopped. There were more than 400 passengers in the nine coaches. The BLA claimed responsibility for the attack and claimed to be hostage of 214 passengers. 21 passengers were killed when the rebels attacked the train. In response, the security forces carried out a campaign to kill all the 33 attackers.
