On the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the Nella Nella Nar scheme launched to provide basic facilities in Naxalite affected villages has started reaching the light of development. Under this, 75 houses of village Tektalgurum of Penti Gram Panchayat Pentachimli under the present camp of Konta, the last block of Sukma district, have started glowing with lightning for the first time after independence. There is new light in the lives of the residents there. Electrification has been completed in this area under the Nellanar scheme of the government, which will now make the lives of the people here easier. Mr. Jakerketta, Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department and his team had a special contribution in the successful implementation of this important project. He worked with full commitment and hard work to provide electricity to the village. This was a historic moment for the people of Tekalgudium deprived of basic facilities over the years. When the electric bulbs were burnt for the first time in the village, the villagers got a glimpse in the eyes.
The Chhattisgarh government is doing rapid development work in remote and Maoist affected areas. Sensitive areas are also being given full benefit. Villagers of Tekalgudium say that now they will also be able to join the mainstream of development. Local administrative officials also assured that other necessary facilities will also be provided in the village in the coming time.
Education and development will gain momentum
With the facility of electricity, many positive changes will now be seen in the village. Children’s education will now be better than before, because now they will be able to study in light even at night. Apart from this, trade and industries will also be encouraged at a small scale. Digital services will expand with electricity, so that the people of the village will be able to take advantage of various schemes of the government easily.
