The Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh) released the government policy of purchasing wheat on Saturday. During this time, the government informed that wheat will be purchased from 15 March to 5 May on support price. Farmers will have to book online slots to sell their grains. This facility will be available at www.meuparjan.nic.in. At the same time, wheat procurement will start from Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions of Madhya Pradesh from March 15, while wheat will be started from all the rest of the divisions from 17 March.
Along with this, the government also announced the minimum support price and bonus for wheat. According to this, this time the purchase of wheat will be done at the rate of Rs 2600 per quintal. In this, the minimum support price is Rs 2425 and a bonus will be given by the state government at Rs 175 per quintal. That is, farmers will be paid Rs 2600 from the government for a quintal this time. It is worth noting that earlier in 2023-24 wheat was purchased at the rate of ₹ 2150/quintal. Thus, 25 percent more price will be available than before this year.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav posted information about the increase in support price of wheat on X. He wrote in his post that we want to protect farmers from middlemen. In 2023-24, wheat was purchased ₹ 2150/quintal, which has been increased to ₹ 2600/quintal in a quarter of a year.
The government will give a bonus of Rs 175 to farmers, this time the support price of wheat is Rs 2425 per quintal, while the state government is giving an additional bonus of Rs 175. In this way, farmers will get 2600 rupees of one quintal wheat.
80 lakh tonnes of wheat procurement estimated Food Minister Govind Singh Rajput said, about 80 lakh tonnes of wheat procurement is estimated in the state. On this procurement, the amount of support price is expected to be paid to the farmers of Rs 19 thousand 400 crore and the bonus amount of Rs 1400 crore.
Wheat will be purchased at 60 centers in Bhopal at 60 centers at 60 centers. Purchasing centers have been set up in major villages including Berasia Mandi. So that farmers do not face any kind of trouble. However, 269 slots have been booked for 20 centers on the first day. In such a situation, farmers are expected to come to these centers.
