Since the beginning of March in Chhattisgarh, the heat has started showing its impact. On Friday, the maximum temperature in Rajnandgaon of the state recorded 40.5 degrees Celsius and the lowest night temperature in Ambikapur was recorded at 14.4 degrees Celsius. At the same time, situations like heatstroke were seen in Raipur and Bilaspur.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of any significant change in the temperature of the state for the next 2 days. However, on yesterday i.e. March 16, there is a possibility of light rains in Durg, Khairagarh-Chuikhadan, Rajnandgaon, Raipur and Gourela-Pendra-Marwahi.

Mercury will remain around 40 degrees in Raipur even today
The maximum temperature in the districts of Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, Surguja and Bastar divisions is running above normal. According to the Meteorological Department, due to cleaning the sky, the sun sunshine is coming directly on the ground, due to which the heat has increased during the day.

Today, the maximum temperature in Raipur is estimated to be around 40 degrees and the minimum temperature is around 25 degrees. On Friday, the mercury in Raipur reached 39.8 degrees, which was 5.1 degrees above normal. The minimum temperature was also 24.5 degrees, which was 3.7 degrees above the average.
