64 Naxalites of Chhattisgarh have surrendered to the Telangana police today. These Naxalites were members of different battalions of Sukma and Bijapur districts of Bastar division. 16 of the surrendered Naxalites are women. All these Maoists have decided to return to the mainway of the society together today. All have surrendered to Multi Zone-1 IGP Chandrashekhar Reddy as part of the operation program at the police headquarters.
Let me tell you, in the name of Maoist Party, efforts are made to stop the development of tribal areas. Fed up with this, 122 Maoist members have surrendered in the last 3 months. A total of 64 Naxalites, including 16 women of DVCM, ACM, Milasia members, party members, 16 women of PPCM, have surrendered with the aim of supporting development by joining society today. For their rehabilitation, the government gives them a chance to live a new life under the rehabilitation scheme in the states.
The Telangana police today has given a cash incentive amount of 25 thousand rupees to all the Naxalites surrendering. During this, Range IG Chandrashekhar Reddy, SP Rohit Raj, other police officers were present.
