Gold sculptures of gods
The newly discovered goods are gold seeds, amulets and sculptures. These have a workmanship of complex design. All these things have been found inside a broken vessel, but due to the protection method, their condition always remained intact. The Egyptian Tourism and ancestral ministry has stated that the jewelery found included gold and metal rings, as well as a three-god idol.
The three sculptures found during the excavation include the three major deities of ancient Egypt. Aaun, the ruler of Thebs, Amun, his wife and Matradevi Mut and his son Khonsu i.e. the lunar deity. Initially it was believed that these idols were worn as talisman because they believed that they protect them by tying them around the neck.
