What is this study?
In this study, the youth were asked to use the phone at least for 72 hours. They could use the phone only in connection with work or to stay in the contact with their family and friends. Prior to this research, brain scan of all participants was scanned, focusing on crawing and rewarded parts.
After restricting the use of smartphones for 72 hours, there was a change in the brain chemistry of the participants in the brain scan. Due to the less use of smartphones, reactions such as adactural substance’s withdrawal were seen in the minds of the participants. From this it can be understood that how serious the smartphone addiction is and how much need to reduce its use.
