Forensic experts were also immediately called on the spot. The district administration has ordered a judicial inquiry on the matter.
The prisoner was sentenced four days ago
According to the information received, the accused was punished a few days before the sentence of double life imprisonment. In this case of the Poxo Act, the hearing of the case of the accused for 4 years was going on in the special court of Khandwa. The accused was accused of raping his own daughter. Which was found correct in the DNA investigation. However, the way the accused embraced death, there was a stir in jail.
Daughter avenged the quarrel with wife
The incident in which the accused was sentenced by the special court is on 6 July 2021. The wife went to her maternal home after a quarrel between the accused’s wife and the accused. While the 11 -year -old daughter was at home. Angered by the wife’s quarrel, the accused carried out the rape incident with his own daughter at midnight. She also tried to kill her by strangling her to make noise. The daughter died after struggling for a few days in the hospital.
Judicial investigation will be done for the incident
Jail Superintendent of Khandwa District Jail Aditya Chaturvedi said that information about this case has also been given to the district court along with Khandwa district administration. Therefore, judicial inquiry has been ordered in this case. Following the order of investigation, the body of the deceased was sent to Khandwa District Hospital security arrangements on Tuesday night. Post mortem will be done in the case on Wednesday.
