Constant work is being done to prevent accidents in coal foods, which are getting good results: Minister Kishan Reddy

In order to reduce accidents in coal mines, Minister Kishan Reddy said in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday that continuous work is being done to prevent accidents in coal foods, which are getting good results. In response to a supplementary question during the Question Hour, Minister Reddy said that new technology is being used along with forming separate committee to reduce accidents in foods. He said that for the first time 5G technology is being used inside the khadan so that accidents can be controlled. He said that due to the efforts of the government, accidents are continuously decreasing in coal foods and efforts are being made in the coming days.

He said that the safety of those working in foods is the priority of the government. In response to another question, he said that the state government is the task of stopping illegal mining in coal foods. Illegal mining has been happening in Jharkhand for 50 years. He said that he himself met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Shorein and discussed stopping illegal mining. He said that states should come forward to stop it. In response to another question, Minister Reddy said that in Jharia of Jharkhand, there has been a fire inside the khadan since the British era. The cooperation of the state government is necessary to stop this. The government is trying to displace people from fire affected areas and provide employment to separate places and provide employment to them.
