Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai provided appointment letters to selected candidates in sub -inspector cadre

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while providing appointment letters to 840 selected candidates of Sub Inspector Cadre at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose State Police Academy, Chandkhuri, said that the government is constantly striving to increase the capacity and efficiency of the police force in the state. Chief Minister Sai said that the work of the police is not only limited to catching criminals, but it is also a great responsibility of the police department to ensure that the atmosphere of security and trust should be created in the society. He said that the work of the police force is also to promote peace, trust and cooperation among the people.

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is continuously working to make the functioning of the police department more effective in cyber security, women security and Naxal -affected areas. The inclusion of technical resources is making the police force more efficient and effective.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma appreciated the efforts made for the empowerment of the police force under the leadership of Chief Minister Sai. He said that uniforms mean not only rights, but also the responsibility of service and safety of society. He asked the newly appointed police officers to respect their uniforms and always wear it proudly.

During the program, Chief Minister Sai inaugurated new women’s stations in Jashpur, Raigad, Jagdalpur and Dantewada. He said that through these police stations, women will be ensured more safe environment and quick justice. Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is considering new schemes to strengthen the police force. Under these schemes, special attention will be paid to technological upgradation, modern weapons and training programs.

Addressing the newly appointed officials, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam said that today is an important day of his life, as it is the beginning of his journey in the police service. He said that high morale and discipline is mandatory to become a strong police officer.

Arang MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, Additional Chief Secretary Home Manoj Pingua and senior officers of Police Department were present on the occasion.
