During the assembly budget session in Chhattisgarh, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s residence in Bhilai-3 this morning. Apart from this, the investigating agency raided a total of 14 locations, where the documents are being investigated. With this action, the political stir of the state has intensified. Deputy CM Arun Saw has reacted strongly to the raid of ED.
He said that the whole country knows that many big scams took place during Bhupesh Baghel’s tenure. Investigation is going on, a direct role has been seen in the scam of people close to Bhupesh Baghel. They are also arrested, the case is going on against him, it is part of the action of the ED investigation. If Bhupesh Baghel has done nothing, he has no role, he does not need to be afraid or panic.
Bhupesh Baghel called it a ‘conspiracy’
When the false case that has been going on for seven years was dismissed in court, today the guests of ED have entered the Bhilai residence of former Chief Minister, Congress General Secretary Bhupesh Baghel this morning. If someone is trying to stop the Congress in Punjab with this conspiracy, then it is a misunderstanding.
In which cases investigation is being done?
According to sources, this action of ED is being taken in matters related to money laundering and economic irregularities. However, it is not yet clear what special case this raid is related to. It is being told that the name of former CM Bhupesh Baghel was revealed in the liquor scam, coal scam and Mahadev Satta app case, after which he was on the radar of ED.
