Israel says he is shutting down the power supply to Gaza. The entire effect of this is not yet clear, but water treatment plants of this region get electricity for drinking water generation. The announcement on Sunday was made at a time when Israel stopped supply of all types of goods in the region a week ago. It has tried to put pressure on Hamas to carry forward the first phase of his ceasefire. This phase ended last weekend.

Hamas has insisted on starting dialogue at the second phase of a more difficult break of ceasefire. Gaza has been devastated to a large extent due to the war and generators and solar panels are used for power supply.
Israeli Energy Minister signed the order
On Sunday, Energy Minister Elli Cohen announced that Israel would stop the power supply to Gaza. He said, “We will activate every equipment with us to bring our hostages back home and not let Hamas stay in Gaza after the war.” Cohen signed an order to stop the power flow in Gaza soon after the announcement.
Israel is putting pressure on Hamas
On Friday, the Wall Street Journal reported that to pressurize Hamas, the step-by-step plan of Israel will begin to stop the entry of goods and supply in Gaza, with the next phase of electricity and water will have to be shut down. In July, Israel connected a water facility in Gaza to Israel’s electric grid to provide water to the people of Gaza on a medium to long period of long term at a rate of up to 20,000 liters per day, a policy that served to maintain the global validity of Israel.
