An FIR has been lodged against Uttar Pradesh leader Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya at Safdarjung Enclave police station in Delhi. Raja Bhaiya was accused of harassing his wife and this FIR has been lodged against Raja Bhaiya on the complaint of his wife.
According to the information, Raja Bhaiya’s wife Bhanvi Singh has filed a complaint against her husband with serious allegations in the Delhi Police. She has accused the husband of physical and mental cruelty. Bhanvi alleges that Raja Bhaiya has tortured him physically and mentally for years.
Bhanvi Singh said in his complaint that his body parts have been damaged due to continuous assault. His life is in danger. Earlier, she lodged a complaint with the National Commission for Women and Delhi State Legal Services Authority. Raja Bhaiya and his wife Bhanvi Singh’s divorce case is still going on in the court.
The discord between Rajabhaiya and his wife had been going on for many years, but the matter became public when Bhanvi Singh filed a case against Rajabhaiya’s very close MLC Akshay Pratap Singh in several serious sections including fraud and forgery.
Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Rajabhaiya was married in 1995 to Bhanvi Singh, the princess of the Basti royal family. At the time of marriage, Rajabhaiya was around 25 years old while Bhanvi was 20 years old. Both have four children. For some years, the relationship between the two had started to bear and Bhanvi Singh started living at her residence in Delhi after separating from Rajabhaiya.
There was a rift between Raja Bhaiya and his wife Bhanvi. Many relatives also tried to mediate to connect the relationship, but could not become a matter between Raja Bhaiya and his wife. Raghuraj Pratap alias Raja Bhaiya, a resident of Kunda Beti in Pratapgarh, has a great dominance in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. Raja Bhaiya has been elected independent MLA from Kunda Assembly for the 7th consecutive time since 1993. Raja Bhaiya is also the prince of Beti and Bhadari Rajmahal. Raja Bhaiya has also been a jail and food minister in the UP government.
