Bhopal
The Health and Medical Education Department is preparing to give the rights of some common types of pathology and biochemistry to government and private MBBS doctors of Madhya Pradesh. The major reason behind this is the lack of pathologists in the state. Due to this disturbances are also coming out. Reports are prepared in several investigation centers in the same city in the same city in the name of the same private specialist doctor. The truth is that the doctor examines only one or two places. Lab technicians are investigating the rest of the place and giving reports.

States are allowed to arrange
There is also a huge shortage of pathologists and microbiologists in government hospitals of the state. In such a situation, the government has to take such a decision. The central government has also allowed states to make such arrangements. Based on this, some states are running this system. Investigations on which this exemption is prepared to give will include CBC, liver function test, kidney function test, urin routine microscopic, thyroid, ferretin etc.

Deputy Chief Minister Public Health and Medical Education Rajendra Shukla has asked the department officials to prepare a proposal in this regard. Before April, this system is ready to be effective. Apart from government hospitals, private MBBS doctors will also get the right to investigate. Leaving the Medical College, there are a total of 147 posts of pathologists including District Hospital, Civil Hospital and Community Health Center (CHC). Of these, 70 are vacant. In the year 2023, the recruitment process for 34 posts of pathologists was started in the year 2023, in which only 24 were able to fill.
