Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had underlined the increasing number of registration of electric vehicles in the state at the inauguration of GIS Bhopal and underlined the increasing acceptance of EV revolution in Madhya Pradesh and immense possibilities for investors. Madhya Pradesh is emerging not only in the field of automobile and EVs as a hub of innovation and research. The government is providing all possible facilities to investors. Electric vehicles (EVs) and automobile sectors are getting tremendous speed in Madhya Pradesh. From the platform of Global Investors Summit (GIS) Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed his commitment to make the state a leading state in this region.
EV and new dimensions of automobile development will be established in the state
Major automobiles and EV companies of India and abroad participated in GIS-Bhopal. Currently more than 30 original equipment manufacturers are employed in the state and more than 200 companies are manufacturing vehicles. Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states of the country in commercial vehicle manufacturing, while it is second in bus and tractor manufacturing. Hindustan Electro-Greefite (HEG), a company that manufacture graphite electrodes at GIS-Bhopal, signed an investment of Rs 1,800 crore. This plant to be built in Dewas will produce graphite anode, which will reduce the cost of EV batteries and will give a new incentive to the industry.
India’s ‘Detroit’ is becoming Pithampur
The Pithampur auto-cluster of Madhya Pradesh is spread over about 4,500 hectares and has become one of the largest automobile centers in the country. Legendary companies like Force Motors, Eicher Motors, AVTAC Motors, Kinetic Motors are working here. Also, more than 60 auto Kal-Prija manufacturers are making their products here. Asia’s longest high-speed testing track ‘Natrax’ (11 km) located in Pithampur is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for vehicle testing, making it a global competitive.
MP Mobility Expo 2025: Center of Innovation and Investment
The MP Mobility Expo-2025 was organized at the GIS Summit, which was attended by companies like Bridastone, ZF Steering, Mother’s Gabial, Anand Industries. Super car and super bike exhibition at the expo was the center of special attraction. Various start-ups presented their innovations, promoting the inclusion of new technologies in the state.
Steps towards EV and Sustainable Mobility
Madhya Pradesh is attracting rapid investment in EV battery manufacturing, charging infrastructure and hydrogen fuel innovation. The state government is implementing special policies to promote clean and sustainable automobile manufacturing.
Automobile and EV investors enthusiasts for investment in the state
The Madhya Pradesh government is facilitating tax-festival, early approval process and excellent logistics infrastructure to promote the automobile sector. In the financial year 2023-24, the state’s automobile and vehicle Kal-Puja area exported $ 19.2 million. This brought the state revenue and thousands of new employment opportunities were created.

Major companies working in Auto Mobile and Electric Vehicle sector participated in GIS-Bhopal. Bridhstone, ZF Steering, Badway Engineering, Mother’s Gabial, Pistol Dewas, Anand Industries, Jhalani Engineers, SD Excel Pvt. Ltd., Jagatjit Engineering Private Limited, Tafe Motors & Tractors Limited, V.E. Commercial Vehicles Limited and Pinnacle Industries were included.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the expansion of the dubility will reduce carbon emissions in Madhya Pradesh and will encourage environmentally friendly transport policy. With this, the state will not only move towards economic prosperity, but will also set an example towards green energy and sustainable development.
