The support of the Ukrainian President has increased in the country after a sharp debate at the White House with US President Donald Trump. According to a survey issued, Jailonski’s unlikely ratings have increased amid increasing tension with the US administration. A survey by Keav International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) found that the approval rating of Jailnsky increased to 68 percent in early March, which was 57 percent a month ago. Meanwhile, his disproportionate rating fell from 37 percent to 27 percent.
Commenting on the results of the survey, KIIS Executive Director Anton Hrusitski said, “The people of Ukraine consider the rhetoric of the new US government to be an attack on the entire Ukraine and all Ukraine.” On February 28, the meeting of Jailonsky with US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance at the White House turned into a sharp debate. The whole world saw the debate between the leaders of two countries. This development caused the prescribed press conference and an anticipated bilateral raw material agreement.
The Trump administration is constantly pressurizing Ukraine to end the ongoing war with Russia. The US has now stopped Ukraine’s reach to satellite photographs.
According to media reports, pictures of the battlefield taken by American aerospace firm Maxar will no longer be available for Ukraine. Kiev was using these photographs to monitor the activities of the Russian army and assess the damage after airstrikes. Maxar said in a statement that according to the wishes of US President Donald Trump, access to these photos for users in Ukraine is now being blocked.
Photos obtained from space have been an important weapon in Kyiv’s toolbox. They are used to plan the reconnaissance drone mission, find Russian reserves of tanks-vehicles and assess the results of attacks in Russian controlled areas. The US has already stopped military assistance to Ukraine and then stopped sharing intelligence information. This latest cut in important assistance given to Kiev is being seen as another attempt to pressurize Ukraine for peace talks with Russia.
