The policies of US President Donald Trump have caused turmoil in global politics. Meanwhile, the Chinese Foreign Minister has expressed his opinion on relations with India. Yi says that India and China need to work together to get success in every field. Yi’s statement came at a time when External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that mutual respect and sensitivity is needed in India and China.
Talking to the media on Friday, Wang Yi said that India and China need to work together for development and progress. The two countries will have to support each other. Instead of trying to swallow each other or standing against each other, we need to work closely. Wang also emphasized that China and India should come together to promote global South. He said that the border dispute should not be the only reason to determine the relationship between the two countries.
Mutual respect and sensitivity on the border is necessary- Jaishankar
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar expressed his opinion on India-China relations. He said that India wants a stable relationship with China and relations in which the respect and sensitivity of the interests of New Delhi should also be recognized. He said that the main issue is how to create a stable balance. We want a stable relationship where our interests are respected, our sensitivity should be recognized and where it works for both of us. This is the main challenge in our relationship.
