Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Adi Shankaracharya came to Omkareshwar in the state during his childhood. His philosophy and teachings are still considered relevant. A huge statue of Adi Shankaracharya, who works to tie the entire society in the thread of unity, is installed in Omkareshwar. All necessary works should be done for the overall development of the entire Omkareshwar including the statue site. Simhastha: By 2028, Omkareshwar also became a center of special attraction of devotees and tourists like Ujjain, all efforts should be made in this direction. This place is an important center of religious and spiritual tourism of the state. He said that the Shiva Panchayatan temple complex in Ekatam Dham Omkareshwar should be developed like Mahakal Lok.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav gave necessary instructions in a meeting with senior officials regarding the development of Ekatam Dham, Omkareshwar in a meeting in the meeting hall of Samatwat Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Thursday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also saw the presentation prepared by the Department of Culture.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the number of devotees and other tourists coming here will definitely increase with the development of facilities in Omkareshwar. Like the Ram temple of Ayodhya in Nagarashali, the construction of the temple in this faith place will be helpful in the special identity of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the work should be completed in the time limit for the construction of convenient routes to and from the Ekatam Dham and the convenient routes of going to the area.
