The Municipal Corporation put red marks on the houses affected on Tuesday due to widening from Ravi Shankar Nagar to Narsinghghat Tirahe via Jaisinghpura. Around 171 houses have been identified. 20 houses at three intersections will be traced later.
Under Simhastha-2028, the corporation is widening 6 routes in the city. In this sequence, the route from Ravi Shankar Nagar to Jaisinghpura via Narsinghghat is being widened 24 meters (80 feet), which has been tendered.
People protested in front of the mayor
Residents of Ravi Shankar Nagar protested in front of Mayor Mukesh Tatwal during the ward tour. He says that a large part of the house will be broken due to the 24 meter road widening. The corporation widen at the value of 18 meters. However, the residents were told that according to the master plan, the route is being widened. It has been decided to widen the route through smart city three years ago.
Red mark on 171 houses
The corporation put red marks on 171 houses affected in widening. At the same time, 20 houses built at Harifataka Bridge, Mahakal Lok and Jaisinghpura intersection were left. Land acquisition will be done due to intersection development here. Under the red mark on the houses, many houses are coming under the width of up to 25 feet widening. The building officer of Zone 2 Rajkumar Rathore put red marks at the remaining houses and shops from the train base intersection to the Sheetla Mata Temple.
