Markward, an expert company in the Mekatronics sector, has officially launched a new plant in Talegaon near Pune, increasing the scope of its presence in India. The family -owned company has introduced this new production facility in place of its production site in Mumbai, which will greatly expand its capabilities and will also strengthen its ability to compete rapidly in the moving market. Its building, machinery and equipment have invested more than Rs 180 crore. In the coming time, Markward will mainly create a Micatronic system solutions for customers of the Indian motor-vehicle industry in its plant with state-of-the-art facilities.

Around 300 new job opportunities
In addition to the assembly lines with its state-of-the-art features, in-houses provide the entire metronic solutions to their customers with electronics production and logistics, including the drive authorization system, gear selector switch and battery management system for electric vehicles. Also, this investment will make the size of the supply chain smaller, the reaction time will be faster and the flexibility will increase. In the coming five years, this new site of Markward will reveal about 300 additional jobs opportunities.
