The capital has once again come to light a case of hit and run. The person walking in front of the old Basti police station stumbled a high speed car. In this incident, the person died on the spot. While the accused car driver escaped. The police reached the spot and sent the dead body for postmortem and started further action.
According to the information received from the police, the deceased has been identified as Manoj Pansari (age 43 years) of Shitla Temple Gali in Budhapara, as father-Keshav Pansari. At present, the police is busy identifying the absconding car driver. All nearby CCTV footage is being searched. The police have assured to apprehend the accused as soon as possible.
