HC fined 40 thousand rupees on the Information Commissioner in Jabalpur. Orders to give 2 lakh 38 thousand information free to the applicant. The High Court said that the Information Commissioner should not work as an agent of the government. HC ordered the petition of Bhopal film maker Neeraj Nigam. The information of RTI was not given to the applicant within 30 days. After 30 days, 2 lakh 38 thousand rupees were sought from the applicant in lieu of information. Even after the order of HC, the Information Commissioner rejected RTI appeal.
