DA Hike: Chhattisgarh government increased 3% in DA, order issued


The Government of Chhattisgarh has announced to make its employees’ dearness allowance to 53%. In the government headed by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Cabinet Minister OP Chaudhary had announced 53% DA to government servants in the annual budget of 2025-26 in the Assembly on March 3.

The order has been issued by the Finance Department to increase the dearness allowance of government servants in compliance with the said announcement. According to the order issued, an order has been issued to increase the dearness allowance of government servants of the state by 3 percent to 53 percent.

The dearness allowance of the employees working in the seventh pay scale has been increased by 3 percent, now they will get 53 percent dearness allowance, while the dearness allowance of the sixth pay scale employees has been increased by 7 percent, now they will get 246 percent dearness allowance. This increase will be effective from 1 March 2025 and will be paid in the month of April with a salary of March 2025.
