Dhamtari
Digital survey of crops in the district is being done rapidly during the current Rabi season. Dhamtari district has been selected as a pilot project for this digital crop survey by the Government of India. Collector Ms. Namrata Gandhi has given instructions to the officials of Revenue Department to complete the survey of Rabi crops on land of about 3 lakh 53 thousand Khasar in the district by 25 March. Information will be recorded in the prescribed portal and mobile app after survey of rabi crops in the district. The Collector has also instructed the officials to make the tenth pass and mobile holder youths surveyors to complete this survey by the due date. Such surveyors have been entrusted with the responsibility of Revenue Inspector Shri Deepchand Bharti for training and resolving any technical error and necessary cooperation of any technical error.
A digital survey of crops in the kharif season in the district was also conducted, but the availability of surveyors working during the Kharif season has been affected due to the reduction in the Rabi season. In order to complete the work fast, Collector Ms. Gandhi has instructed the officers to select new surveyors. The surveyor will be selected by the Tehsildar through Patwari. Surveyors can be men or women who have completed 18 years of age. It will be necessary to pass his tenth grade. The surveyor has also made it mandatory for the surveyor to have his own internet.
Generally, the resident of the village concerned will be made a surveyor, but if the eligible person is not available in the village, the students of the nearest village or Agricultural and Horticulture College will also be made surveyors. Surveyors will be given an honorarium of Rs 10 for each measles after uploading the portal by surveying the crops through mobile apps. The work of the surveyors will be monitored by the concerned patwaris on daily basis. Revenue inspectors will verify the entries made by the surveyor. The newly selected surveyors will be trained at the revenue inspector board level.
