The delegation of Chhattisgarh Shramjeevi Journalist Association met Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office court courtesy for two times the Journalist Samman Nidhi and thanked the journalists for making new provisions in the budget. The delegation also presented a copy of Vishnupuran to the Chief Minister on this occasion.
It is worth noting that in the budget of Chhattisgarh, a provision has been made to increase the journalist honor fund from Rs 10 thousand to Rs 20 thousand per month, Rs 1 crore for journalists exposure visit and Rs 1 crore for renovation and expansion of Press Club Building of Raipur.
The delegation also thanked Finance Minister OP Chaudhary and Media Advisor Pankaj Jha for making special provisions in the budget for journalists. On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Shramjeevi Journalist Association, Arvind Awasthi, Convenor Rajesh Mishra, Vice President Dway Bharat Yogi and Mr. Mohan Tiwari and District President Ram Sahu were also present.
