The Indian team defeated Australia to make it to the finals of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. After winning the toss and batting first, Australia’s team scored 264 runs losing all wickets in 49.3 overs, in response, India scored the match with 11 balls remaining thanks to star batsman Virat Kohli’s half -century innings. Virat Kohli scored the highest 84 runs for India.
The first semi -final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is being played between India and Australia. Batting first, Australia has scored 264 runs losing all wickets in 49.3 overs. The Indian team, which came out to chase the target of 265 runs, got the first blow on a score of 30.
Gill was dismissed for 8 runs off 11 balls. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs off 29 balls. He hit three fours and a six in his innings. Shreyas Iyer was dismissed for 45 runs off 62 balls. Akshar Patel was dismissed for 27 runs in 30 balls. Star batsman Virat Kohli returned to the pavilion after scoring 84 off 98 balls. Hardik Pandya was dismissed for 28 runs in 24 balls. Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya are present at the crease.
Australia started to bat first after winning the toss. Salute Batbad Coper Conlie returned to the pavilion without opening an account. Mohammed Shami showed him the way to the pavilion. Travis Head played big shots after a slow start and when Varun Chakraborty implicated him in his trap when he was threatened for India. Head was dismissed for 39 runs off 33 balls.
Marnas Labushen was dismissed for 29 runs off 36 balls. Labushen shared a 56 -run partnership for the third wicket with Smith. Josh English could only score 11 runs in 12 balls. Steve Smith was dismissed by scoring 73 off 96 balls. The captain hit four fours and a six in his innings. Glenn Maxwell could score only seven runs. Ben was dismissed for 19 runs off 29 balls. Alex Carrie scored 61 off 57 balls. Nathan Alice scored 10 runs. Hardik ended Australia’s innings by making Jampa a clean bold. For India, Mohammed Shami took three Varun Chakraborty and Ravindra Jadeja took 2-2 wickets.
