Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla has said that clean drinking water is the cornerstone of good health. This leads to control of waterborne diseases, as well as reduced pressure on hospitals. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the works of the Water Life Mission. He instructed that the works should be completed within the stipulated time-limit. Special care should be taken for the quality of water. Monitoring such areas where work has been completed, proper quantity and quality full water supply should be ensured in each house. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the works of Jal Jeevan Mission in Rewa and Mauganj districts in the ministry. Principal Secretary Public Health Engineering Shri P. Narhari, MD Jal Nigam Shri KVS Chaudhary and departmental senior officials were present.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla instructed to ensure a quick solution by physical verification of the villages in the villages Sagra, Itaura, Bhati, Purana, Tikuri, Ajgarha, Nawagaon, Laxmanpur Lauwa, Kuri, Sanaura, Kusha etc. under the Kandela Community Scheme. Instructed to complete the tender process of 32 single tap-water schemes sanctioned under the Water Life Mission and complete the work in a timely manner. He instructed to start the work of 20 water tanks in the Tamas Community Scheme soon. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that after effectively monitoring the schemes, the work should be ensured in the time limit.
