Captain Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam out of Pakistan’s team declared for five -match T20 series

Captain Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam were dropped from the Pakistan team announced on Tuesday for the five -match T20 series in New Zealand. Salman Ali Aga was replaced by Rizwan as the captain of the T20 team while all -rounder Shadab Khan has returned to the team. Shadab was made the vice-captain. Rizwan, however, has been maintained the captain of the ODI team despite the team’s disappointing performance in the Champions Trophy. The selectors have not made much changes in the ODI team. And has retained the players who failed in the Champions Trophy. Babur has also been retained in the ODI team, but the batsmen Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam were dropped.

The selectors have also shown the way out of the ODI team to fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf. Pakistan will play five International and three ODIs in New Zealand from 16 March.

Pakistan’s team will still play without their opener Sam Ayub, who has not yet recovered from the ankle injury. Opener Fakhar Zaman is also out of the tour due to injuries in the first match of the Champions Trophy.
