In this, a solid foundation has been laid to prepare Chhattisgarh as an industrial hub and an IT hub with measures to groan the “agricultural economy”. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said these things while reacting to the budget presented for the second year of his government in the assembly today.

CM Sai said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have set a target to make Chhattisgarh a developed state. For this, it is very important that we prepare our economy according to modern times, the entire focus in the budget is on this. The Chief Minister said that we had inherited the bad treasury and misrule in the state. We started the work of public welfare in the state with balanced use of budget, improving administrative systems with fiscal reforms. Now the development in Chhattisgarh has come on track and the government of triple engine is giving it rapid pace. This speed will increase further with budget provisions.

The Chief Minister said that according to the concept of developed India in the last budget, the path of inclusive development was prepared and our focus was on knowledge i.e. poor, young, Annadata and women power. The way we implemented innovative schemes for these, they got effective results. This time the theme of the budget is “speed for knowledge” This is in line with the goals of our triple engine government. He said that at the moment we mean good governance, speeding up infrastructure, greater use of technology and rapid increase in industrial development. We will fulfill all these criteria.

We laid a concrete foundation to fulfill Atalji’s dreams: Sai
The Chief Minister said that for the overall development of Chhattisgarh, we have had big dreams and have also prepared a strategy to fulfill them. To complete them, our triple engine government will work at full speed. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also remembered the former Prime Minister of Chhattisgarh state, the late Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. He said that we are celebrating his birth centenary year as an Atal construction year. He said that Atal ji wanted to see Chhattisgarh in the category of developed states, we have laid a concrete foundation to fulfill his dreams. The Chief Minister said that Chhattisgarh will require such infrastructure that fulfills the needs of a developed industrial state. For this, we have made special provisions in the budget. There will be a survey of Raipur-Durg metro service. New industrial parks are set up. A budget of Rs 700 crore has been kept for this. Mahanadi- will add rivers like Indravati and Kodar-Sikasar, invest in farming. A budget provision of 1500 crores has been made for new irrigation projects.

12 new engineering colleges and 12 polytechnic colleges will open
The Chief Minister said that we have made arrangements regarding new hospitals, modern schools and adequate staff to save human resources in the budget. To meet the needs of the state’s new industrial policy, 12 new engineering colleges and 12 will be launched. Industrial subsidy support of Rs 700 crore has been kept for new business and startup. This time the capital expenditure has been kept more than 26 thousand crore rupees, which is 18 percent compared to the previous year. There is manifold return of investment in capital expenditure. The Chief Minister said that the budget is inclusive and everyone has been prepared according to our aim of everyone’s development, everyone’s faith, everyone’s efforts.

Chhattisgarh will fill a new flight to fulfill your dreams
The Chief Minister said that according to the ideals of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, we have given special budget provision for the welfare of Antyodaya and for their overall development. In the last budget, for the schemes started for poor youth, Annadata and women power and tribal development, along with the budget provision, new schemes for their development have also been started in this budget. He said that with this budget, our state will fill a new flight with new resolutions to fulfill its dreams.
