Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that Red Cross is a strong project of human service. Member, Realize the service resolutions of Red Cross in the service works of the afflicted humanity. Governor Shri Patel was addressing the meeting of the annual general assembly of Madhya Pradesh branch of Red Cross. On this occasion, he rewarded various units of Red Cross.
Governor Shri Patel said that the District Units should take inspiration to pursue better tasks of serving the victims from the awarded units of the Red Cross Branch. Competitively compete with positivity from units. Present the ideal of service works. Follow the instructions and goals obtained by the state branch within the time limit.
Governor Shri Patel said that the role of Red Cross is important in advancing the eradication efforts of sickle cell. Organize the awareness, investigation and treatment programs of sickle cell to rural and remote areas. Treat identified patients with sensitivity. He appealed to the people present to make personal efforts to help children and families affected by sickle cell.
Governor Shri Patel was greeted with a welcome and souvenirs. Dr. Gagan Kolhe, Chairman of Red Cross State Branch, presented the progress details of the welcome address and 2023-24 of the Madhya Pradesh Red Cross Branch. State Branch General Secretary Shri Ramendra Singh presented the upcoming action plan. Treasurer Shri Shashank Srivastava conducted the proceedings of the meeting. Vice President Shri Bharat Jhanwar accepted the gratitude. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary of the Governor, Shri K.K. C. Gupta, officials and members of the State and District Branch of the Red Cross Society were present.
