Chief Minister Sai said that Chhattisgarh is a state full of immense possibilities for industrial development and new entrepreneurship. The state is rich in forest, minerals and energy resources and is included in the Surplus states in power generation. Due to these resources, a favorable environment is available for the establishment of industries here. The government is providing all possible support to investors and new entrepreneurs, so that new opportunities for economic development and employment in the state can be encouraged.

He said this during a discussion with representatives of Pharma, Real Estate and IT region at his residence office in the capital. Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Secretary Dr. Basavraju S., P. Dayanand, Rahul Bhagat, Industry Secretary Rajat Kumar and Managing Director Vishwesh Jha were present on the occasion.

New industrial policy will be easier to establish industry from 2024-30

Chief Minister Sai said that the new Industrial Development Policy 2024-30 has been implemented in Chhattisgarh, which has made it more simple and convenient to set up industries for investors. Under this, online application and quick processing have been arranged, which has made the investment process transparent and fast. Additionally, the ‘Single Window 2.0’ system has been implemented, making all necessary approvals easily and investors are not facing any discomfort.

Investment will be promoted from new industrial park

Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is setting up new industrial parks, which will provide necessary infrastructure and resources to industrialists. This will also provide a strong environment to the new entrepreneurs, so that they can pursue their commercial journey firmly. This initiative will not only increase the number of industrial units, but will also create new employment opportunities in the state.

Record investment proposal in Chhattisgarh, first promoted semiconductor and AI sector

Chief Minister Sai said that after the implementation of the new industrial policy, Chhattisgarh has received an investment proposal of Rs 1.23 lakh crore. Special incentives have been given to sectors like AI, IT, Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Real Estate and Robotics in the state. As a result, for the first time in Chhattisgarh, investment proposals have been received for the establishment of semiconductor, data center and AI based industries, which will prove to be a major milestone in the industrial development of the state.

Positive dialogue regarding industrial investment

During the meeting, Chief Minister Sai assured the representatives of the industry that the Chhattisgarh government will provide all possible help to entrepreneurs. He said that the industrial policy of the state is clear, transparent and investor-friendly, due to which industrialists from India and abroad are being provided necessary facilities to establish trade in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai, inviting investors, said that the Chhattisgarh government will give all possible support in making their business successful. The new industrial initiative of the state is committed to take the state to a new era of economic progress and innovation.

Many eminent entrepreneurs and investors made their presence on the occasion, including Gaurav Chauhan from Mankind Pharma, Vikas Khadolia, CEO of Embassy Rit, Shraddha Sharma, founder of Yourstory and Rohit Kashyap, founder of Mytry School of Entrepreneurship.
