As part of his commitment to promote environmentally friendly transportation, Nissan today announced that the new Nissan Magnite BR 10 Natural Aspirated Engine is now fully corresponding to the E20. Along with this, it has come to a more powerful 1.0 liter HR 10 turbocharged petrol engine equal, which was made in August 2024 to the E-20 (E-20 compatible). With this achievement, all the Povertrain options of the new Nissan Magnite have now become the E20 Committee (E20 Compatable).
Nissan Motor India has also crossed an important stage by exporting 50,000 units of Magnite since launch. The new Nissan Magnite has rapidly enhanced its wholesale sales in domestic and export markets since the launch of India’s recent strategic declaration to establish India as a major export hub for the company. The offering of the LHD version has made a major contribution in this direction with the first dispatch in January 2025.
In February 2025, Nissan sold a total of 8567 units of wholesale, which contributed to the increased export data. 2328 units were sold in the domestic market and 6239 units in the export market. Exports have registered an increase of 97 percent this year as compared to 3163 in February 2024.
Globally strong demand for new Nissan Magnite shows the increasing presence of Nissan in international markets. At the same time, it is also showing increasing priority about ‘Made in India’ vehicles.

In January 2025, Nissan Motor India started exporting the left-hand drive (LHD) variant of the new Nissan Magnite with a shipping of about 2,900 cars in LATAM markets from Kamarajar Port (KPL-Annor) in Chennai. In February 2025, the company exported over 2,000 cars to the regions of West Asia, North Africa and Asia Pacific. Also, more than 5,100 LHD variants were exported to selected Latin American countries. With this, by the end of February, the total number of exports of LHD Magnite crossed 10,000 units. This figure strengthens the strategy of Nissan’s ‘One Car, One World’ and India’s status as a major export hub has also gained strength.
The new Nissan Magnite is now available in more than 65 markets including Right Hand Drive and Left Hand Drive with bold road presence, premium features and rising global access.
