Irregular employees disappointed with the state government budget, will strike

Disappointed with the state government’s budget, irregular employees have announced a strike. State President of Chhattisgarh Progressive Irregular Employees Federation Gopal Prasad Sahu said, no announcement was made on various demands including regularization in the budget. Due to this, irregular employees across the state will go on strike. Jangi dharna-demonstration will be held in Raipur on 13 April.

Officials of Chhattisgarh Progressive Irregular Employees Federation and irregular organizations have decided to go on strike after meeting in Collectorate Garden Raipur. In the meeting, more than 50 people attended the meeting, including various officials of the federation, 20 irregular organization officials and representatives of 11 different departments.

These are the major demands of irregular employees
Regularization, confirmation, restored employees should be restored.
Employees should be given minimum wages, part -time employees should be fulfilled.
Outsourcing, contract employees should be employed directly in the department.
