Poisonous waste from Bhopal’s Union Carbide Factory to Pithampur will be burnt from 10 am today. Following the direction of 18 February by the High Court, preparations for the trial run of the execution of chemical waste kept in Ramki factory in Pithampur from 27th were started from yesterday. Here 12 containers were sent to Pithampur from Bhopal on 1 January. There are different types of residuals present in them. It included Napthaol, Seveen, Reactor Residue, Pesticides Residents, Semi Processed Residents Excised Soil (soil) there.
Garbage will be burnt in three times
Of the containers present here, the residual placed in five containers will be taken to the storage shed today, where 10 tons of the five containers will be added to the proportion. It will then feed it in an incinerator. Before feeding, we will run in black for 12 hours to bring it to the temperature, that is, you will not put residual in it. At the same time, they have been given masks, goggles and hand gloves for the safety of employees. It will take about 72 hours to burn 10 tons of relics. Where is the court for three trials. The first trial will be of 10 tons, under which work is being done. The second trial of 10 tons will be held on 4th and the third trial of 10 tons will be on 10th. Three feed rates have been dissected for this. Hour at 135 kg, second at 180 kg and third at 270 kg, the status report of the three will be sent to the court.
10 tonnes of garbage will be burnt on 800-900 temperature
Srinivas Dwivedi, Regional Officer of MP Pollution Control Board Indore, said that the instructions given by the Hon’ble High Court that the rescue of Union Carbide should be started from the 18th. Its trial action has been started, under which the residues that came in the containers who came. 5 containers have been opened, it will be stored in the storage shed. Of the five containers, 10 tons of proper proportion will be mixed with an incinerator. When the temperature is 850, then you will feed it. At the time of process in the incinerator, the primary chamber should have an 850 plus minus 50 meaning between 800 and 900. Initially, the temperature decreases when the waste is inserted, which will have to be carried up to 850. Work will start from 10 am.
The process of burning waste will run for three days
Garbage will be burnt for three days in the first trial. During this time, soil will come out in it. After this, the gas will further in the cleaning section which is the secondary section. There is a temperature of 1100 to 1200 degrees centigrade. Diesel also adds there. After burning there, there is blue gas ahead, it will move forward which has a cleaning process, under which it will go to multi -cyclone where big particles that are there will go down. The gas will move forward is the first spray dryer of multi cyclone, this will cause gas cleaning. In the dry scrubber, the weight filter will then go to the chimney after the weight scrubber. This whole process will have to be done.
Second and third trials on 4 and 10 March
It will remove the ashes of solid residual residuals from the primary, the second multi -cyclone will remove the solid waste, the third will come out of the dry scrubber, the fourth weight filter will remove the solid particle from the fourth weight filter, water will be released in the weight scrubber in the last. The solid particle will come out. After stabilizing them, a separate cell will be made in the landfill and will be disposed of. The court has asked for three trials. The first trial will be of 10 tons which is running from 27th, the second trial of 10 tons will be on 4th and the third trial of 10 tons will be on 10th. The previous trial was done at 90 tonnes.
Dry run started from Thursday night
Five containers were opened between three and four o’clock on Thursday afternoon. On Thursday night, the task of increasing the dry run of the incinerator started its temperature. This process will run till Friday morning.
During this period, the temperature of the first combustion chamber of the plant will be increased to 850 to 900 ° C and the temperature of the second combustion chamber will be increased from 1100 to 1200 degrees Celsius. After this the waste will be dumped in the consumer plant.
Supreme court not stayed
The poisonous waste of Union Carbide will be burnt in Pithampur in Dhar district. The Supreme Court has refused to ban garbage burning. In the hearing held on Thursday morning, the Supreme Court said that if the petitioners want, the Madhya Pradesh High Court can register an objection in this regard.
The court has also taken the reply of the state government on record, stating that all the rules will be ensured during burning garbage. In response, information was given about the arrangements due to the procedure, precautions and fear of accidents to burn garbage.
Strong security arrangements
Meanwhile, the process of burning garbage was started in Pithampur. Strong security arrangements have been made. This petition was filed in the Supreme Court by social activist Chinmay Mishra. It said that preparations have been made to burn poisonous waste without following the environment and health rules.
Government presented the answer
On February 17, the Supreme Court, while hearing the petition, told the state government to tell that if there was an accident during burning garbage, what arrangements do it have to deal with it.
On Thursday, the government presented a reply. Taking this on record, the Supreme Court disposed of the petition. Chinmay Mishra said that after studying the verdict, he will explore the possibility of filing a petition in the High Court.
