Metro’s public passenger run on Super Protesty Corridor next month in Indore

Indore
Passenger service may start in Indore on 6 km long ‘Super Pertification Corridor’. Metro work is also going on in Bhopal, but there is some delay. The reason for this delay is the expansion of the priority corridor in Bhopal and some important construction works. Metro work started simultaneously in both cities, but Indore has now moved forward. Security checks in Indore have been completed, while it will take a few more months in Bhopal.

The project started together

The metro project started simultaneously in both Indore and Bhopal cities. But, now Indore has overtaken Bhopal. The 6 -km long ‘super priority corridor’ in Indore is expected to start passenger service next month, ie the last week of March. Five metro stations have been built on this corridor. Indore Metro has completed all necessary tests and investigations. The team of Commissioner Metro Rail Safety has also been inspected. Now NOC is yet to be found from their behalf.
Team brings bogies from Lucknow

It is now expected that next month the metro company can call the Research Design and Standards Organization (RDSO) to conduct the entire track tested. RDSO comes from Lucknow to a complete bogie with its technical equipment. The metro service is allowed to be started only after the Testing of RDSO.
Work is also catching up in Bhopal

Metro work in Bhopal is also going on fast, but it will take some more time. Bhopal’s priority corridor is 6.22 km long, which is slightly larger than Indore. Initially there was a plan to run the metro from Subhash Nagar to Rani Kamalapati station in Bhopal. But later this corridor was extended to AIIMS. Apart from this, the work of building bridge over the railway line was also added. Due to these reasons, Bhopal Metro is being delayed. Officials said that it may take 5 more months to start the metro.
Service will start as soon as NOC is received

Bhopal Metro MD S. Krishna Chaitanya said in a statement that bus CMRS is waiting for NOC in Indore. Passenger service will be started as soon as NOC is received. He informed that the civil work of the priority corridor in Bhopal is almost going to be completed. Subhash Nagar depot also has 20% work left. Trial runs have been run from Subhash Nagar to RKMP station. It took about 17 months to make tracks from RKMP to AIIMS.
Time spent in permission of ROB in Bhopal

In these 17 months, the most time in front of the Ganesh temple took the permission of the Railway Over Bridge (ROB). It took about 9 months. During this time, permission had to be obtained from the railway and a steel bridge had to be built.
