On the fourth day of the budget session of Chhattisgarh Assembly, Finance Minister OP Chaudhary presented the Economic Survey 2024-25. The Finance Minister said that encouraging economic progress is seen in the entire state. More than the national average, there has been growth in the GSDP of the state. Finance Minister OP Chaudhary said that GSDP 2023- 24 is expected to increase from 3,06,712 crore to 2024- 25 to be 3,29,752 crore, it is an increase of 7.51 percent as compared to last year. In this, contribution in agricultural sector, industry sector, service sector is more. Capital income is also increasing.
The Finance Minister said that there is an increase in the rate of 9.37 percent in per capita income in Chhattisgarh, while the per capita income growth rate in the country is 8.66 percent. In this way, the growth rate in the state is much higher than the national average.
