The Naxalite organization was constantly shocked in Bastar. In Sukma area, 7 hardcore Naxalites, including a Naxalite couple operating in PLGA Battalion number one, have surrendered again. The government had declared a reward of a total of 32 lakh rupees on these surrendered Naxalites.
Naxalites have surrendered by the eradication of Naxalism and rehabilitation policy of Chhattisgarh government and “Need Nela Nor Yojana. Of these, 08-08 lakhs on 2 male and 01 female Naxalites, 01 female and 03 men 02 lakh, a total reward of Rs 32 lakh was declared. The Naxal Cell Sukma team, Thana Dorapal and CRPF 131, 241, 241 Vahini played an important role in encouraging the Naxalites to surrender.
