Tahwwur Rana, the mastermind of the 2008 Mumbai attacks, can be prone to a case in Delhi. He was arrested by the FBI in 2009. In January 2025, the US Supreme Court allowed his extradition.
Headley revealed
Pakistani-American David Coleman Headley, one of the main conspirators of the 26/11 attack, revealed that he had traveled to India five times between 2007 and 2008 and had a possible goals in Mumbai for the attacks.
Testifying against Rana, Headley said that he had visited India using a five-year visa, which was helped by his co-scripture. Headley also revealed that Rana had assisted him in setting up an immigration company to hide identity.
After the announcement of Donald Trump, Rana filed a review petition in the US Supreme Court, which was rejected by the court. It is being told that he has filed a final appeal on humanitarian grounds, which may delay a few weeks in his extradition.
