Media and cinema have an important role in society. Films have the ability to bring positive changes in society. Our films are not only a story and story, it also has a message to empower the nation and society. In today’s digital age, the responsibility of media and cinema has increased further. The Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) was addressing the poster release ceremony of Gwalior Short Film Festival of Satpura Film Committee in the auditorium of Smt. Krishna Gaur Sej University.

Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that the youth will participate in the Gwalior Short Film Festival and will innovate with their descriptive and creative ability. He said that we are proud of the younger generation. The youth has the ability to bring positive changes in the country. He said that youth have an important role in building society and country.

Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that through films, important work can be done in the creation of society along with preserving social values, traditions and culture. The Satpura Fideline Committee is doing a very good work in this direction. He said that Indian cinema has empowered our nationalism, social harmony and cultural diversity. He said that the committee’s effort to make cinema a medium to connect society is commendable. Minister Mrs. Gaur said that in today’s era, some digital platforms are adverse to destroying family values. At such a time, the role of institutions like Satpura movie committee becomes even more important. He said that the Gwalior Short Film Festival is not only a competition, but an expansion of an ideology. This is a platform for debutant filmmakers. Through this festival, we will encourage such cinema which are presenting meaningful topics to the society while preserving Indian values.

At the beginning of the poster release ceremony of Gwalior Short Film Festival, Satpuda Shilaki Samiti and World Dialogue Center Madhya Pradesh President Lajpat Ahu gave detailed information about the program. At the end of the program, the Chancellor of SEZ University Neeraj Upamanyu gave the presidential address. He also thanked the guests. A large number of students were present in the program.
