Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Shri Edal Singh Kanshana has said that a target has been set to increase the income of farmers under the Farmers Welfare Mission. This mission will become the main medium for making agriculture a profitable business. The Madhya Pradesh Natural Agricultural Development Board has been formed by the Department of Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development with the aim of spreading natural agriculture and providing encouragement to farmers. A portal has been started for the registration of farmers of the state doing natural farming and the farmers of natural farming. A total of 72 thousand 967 farmers wishing to do natural farming have been registered on the portal. PM Kisan Samriddhi Kendra will be established in each panchayat. In the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana, more than 81 lakh farmers have been transferred to more than four thousand crore rupees last year.
Under the Rani Durgavati Shri Annna Promotion Scheme, farmers are being given a maximum of Rs 3 thousand 900 per hectare at the rate of one thousand rupees per quintal. An amount of Rs 600 crore has been made this year for short -term crop loans at zero percent interest. In the last year, farmers were provided a bonus of Rs 125 per quintal on wheat acquired at support price.
For the first time in the country, the state government decided to procure soybean at a support price of Rs 4 thousand 892 per quintal. For the first time in the state, more than 3 thousand crore rupees were paid by earning soybean at the minimum support price from about 2 lakh farmers. Kharif-2024 distributed more than 1.23 lakh quintals of certified seeds. With the increase in the number of centers to provide fertilizer to the farmers, the farmer interest was ensured by taking strict action against those selling non -standard fertilizers and by making the role of fertilizer quality control experiment schools active.
Madhya Pradesh has a continuous leading place in agricultural production. Seven times the Krishi Karman Award has also been received. The Chief Minister Solar Pump Yojana is now applicable in the name of Pradhan Mantri Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana. In order to benefit the farmers from the benefits of solar energy, about 1.25 lakh farmers who take temporary electrical connections in the state will be provided solar power pumps. In the next four years, solar power pumps will be made self -sufficient in power supply to farmers.
Farmers will be encouraged to take higher prices and crop diversification will be promoted. The target is to increase the area of ​​the irrigated area of ​​the state from 50 lakh hectare to one crore lakh hectare in the next five years.
The area under horticulture crops in Madhya Pradesh is more than 26 lakh hectares. Madhya Pradesh is the first in the country in the production of orange, tomato, coriander, garlic and spices. 50 hi -tech nurseries are being built in the state. E-nursery portal has also been prepared for efficient management of nurseries.
