The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board has made its effective presence in South Asia’s largest travel expo SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo) 2025. In this grand event held from 19 to 21 February 2025, a special stall was set up to promote the tourist destinations of Chhattisgarh, which attracted the attention of tour operators, investors and tourists across the country.
During the expo, Vivek Acharya, the managing director of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, met the officials and tour operators of the tourism department from various states. Shri Acharya informed about the major tourist destinations of the state including Chitrakote Falls, Baranwapara Sanctuary, Bastar Caves, Sirpur, Mainpat through a presentation. Also, he also highlighted the opportunities for tourism development and investment in Chhattisgarh.
Vivek Acharya said, “The natural beauty of Chhattisgarh, the rich cultural heritage and the Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai Sarkar’s tourism policies are helping it to emerge as a major tourism destination.” He informed that the state government is working on many new schemes to create a favorable environment for tourists and investors.
The stall of the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board in SATTE 2025 remained the center of attraction of the expo, where a large number of tour and travel agencies, industry experts and tourism lovers participated. The expo received encouraging response to the tourist destinations and possibilities of Chhattisgarh, which is clear that the state will soon make a strong identity in the top tourist destinations of the country.
Tour operators and travel agents from various states also got their spot registration with the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board in the Stall of SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Expo) so that they could get the benefit of tourism booking and tourists from other states under the tourism board policies. Maximum number of attractive tourist destinations of Chhattisgarh can also be visited. This small start has opened the doors of future meaningful possibilities for the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board.
Chhattisgarh Tourism Board General Manager Mr. Vedavrat Sirmaur, Deputy General Manager Mr. Sandeep Thakur and various officers were present on the occasion held in Yashobhumi, Delhi. He met tour and travel agencies, government officials and investors and discussed in detail on state tourist places, schemes and investment opportunities.
