Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the Global Investors Summit has been organized in Bhopal under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the areas are getting the benefit. Referring to the changing identity of the state capital Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that now it is being identified here with investment, industry and business. On Monday, the first day of the Global Investors Summit, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed the IT and Tech sector industrialists in the Summit “Tech Invest Madhya Pradesh” of the Department of Science and Technology.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that IT is a different type of world and there are infinite possibilities of investment and expansion in this field. The Chief Minister appreciated the policies made in the field of IT and said that Madhya Pradesh has made the best policy compared to other states. He said that investors will get the benefit of these policies. The Madhya Pradesh government is committed to the expansion of the IT sector. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the places where challenges used to come in the area of IT are also being built there too.
In the departmental summit, the view of Madhya Pradesh was discussed by India becoming the next technology superpower. Investment proposals were received from various institutions and MoUs were signed. Various penalists shared their views in sessions held at the global center at the global center to Madhya Pradesh for IT, Electronics, Semiconductor, Drone, AVGC-XR, Data Center and Global Capability Center (GCC) in the session.
A total of 25 thousand 640 crore investment was received in various technology sectors in the summit, which will create about one lakh 83 thousand 400 employment opportunities. IT and ITS sector received an investment of 5500 crores. This will create an estimated 93 thousand jobs. An investment of Rs 14 thousand crore was received in the ESDM area, which will create about 14 thousand jobs. An investment of Rs 6800 crore was received for the data center, in which 2900 employment opportunities will be created. 700 crore investment was received in GCC, which will create 40 thousand 500 employment opportunities. ABGC-XR received an investment of Rs 110 crore, with 3000 employment opportunities. An investment of Rs 180 crore was received in the drone sector, which will provide employment to about 30 thousand people.
Madhya Pradesh leads India’s digital revolution: Dubey
Additional Chief Secretary of Additional Chief Secretary Science and Technology, Sanjay Dubey emphasized the commitment to make the state a pioneer in the IT sector. He said that Madhya Pradesh is at the forefront of India’s digital revolution. He said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to provide guarantee of public services. Additional Chief Secretary Dubey said that the state has launched the influential IT, ITS and ESDM investment incentive policy-2023, GCC Policy-2025, ABGC XR Policy-2025, Drone Promotion and Usage Policy 2025 and Conductor Policy 2025. These policies are supporting global investors and cooperating in creating an ecosystem developed in the state. Provision of capex, land and interest exemption, plug-and-play facility etc. has been made in policies.
India should move towards becoming a product power house: Dr. Chaudhary
Padma Bhushan Award winner, co-founder and former MD HCL, Founder EPIC Foundation Dr. Ajay Chaudhary said that by integrating design centers, start-ups, academics and global marketing, India has been integrated towards becoming a product power house. Dr. Chaudhary emphasized technical investment and long -term strategies. He said that we should think of India’s companies in the next 20 years to include among the top five companies in the world. Dr. Chaudhary, more strengthening the ‘Make in India’ initiative, stressed the need to convert it into ‘Design and Make in India’. He appreciated the policies of the Madhya Pradesh government and said that the state is promoting policies focused on semiconductor, drone and other state -of -the -art techniques. In such a situation, if India is to lead the global technical scenario, then more investments will have to be made in technology construction.
Madhya Pradesh leading state in providing benefits of government services: Krishnan
While discussing the increasing influence of technology, Secretary Information and Technology Ministry of Information and Technology, Government of India S.K. Krishnan said that we need to put more emphasis on digital technology, because the economy is now moving forward on the basis of technology. He said that 10 years ago, digital technology’s contribution to India’s GDP was only 6-7 percent, which has now increased to 13 percent and is expected to reach 20 percent by 2030. Apart from this, he also mentioned that more than 90 percent of mobile phones are being assembled in India today, causing the country moving towards self -sufficiency in the field of technology. India will become a developed country by the digital economy by 2047. More than 70 percent of the world’s design companies are established in India. We can establish India as a global center in the field of design. Madhya Pradesh is the most agricultural producing state in the country, here is Bibrant Tech Eco System. There are tier-two cities for semi-conductors design in the state. Madhya Pradesh is the leading state of the country in providing benefits of government services. All these characteristics will establish the state as the center of the IT region in the future.
Madhya Pradesh’s role in IT and AI industry is important: Vasistha
Tholons Managing Director Avinash Vashistha thanked the government and the organizers for the important initiative of the Global Investors Summit. He described it as an important stage of India’s investment trip. He said that India has always been a major center of outsourcing in the IT and BPO industry and India alone had half of the global outsourcing. Now India’s role in the field of AI is going to be more powerful. It is expected that about 70 percent of the GlobalAI market will be in India, as the talent of this region is already available here in large numbers. He further said that if we proceed properly, both Madhya Pradesh and India can become a technology hub globally. Vashistha hoped that this summit would be successful in taking investment and taking Madhya Pradesh to new heights in the coming years. M.P. Ashish Vashisht, Managing Director of State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC), said that the policy and initiative of the state are giving shape to India’s digital future. In the session, Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology, Dubey said that the connectivity of Ahmedabad and Sanand from Madhya Pradesh is very good. Session-3 Skyword Bound: Scaling Drone and Space Tech in Madhya Pradesh
This session discussed the rapid expansion in the drone sector. In this, information was provided about drone maps, drone destination, satellite maping, drone data etc. In this session, Additional Chief Secretary Dubey, Ministry of Joint Secretary Information and Technology Sanket Mondway, Air Commander Rajiv Mittal, Managing Director Drone Destination Chirag Sharma, CEO Prakhar Software Solutions Pradeep Namdev and Co-Founder and Director Insight Aviation Simran Singh. In this session, investors emphasized the immense possibilities of drones in industrial applications and defense technology. Dubey informed investors in detail about the state’s drone policy-2025.
Session-4: Animating Growth: Madhya Pradesh Emerging AVGC Eco System
The AVGC-XR session discussed the possibilities of the region in Madhya Pradesh. Dubey said that the state ABGCRK is working on pre-production, production and post production eco system. The film and Tourism Policy-2025 policy of Madhya Pradesh provides facility to make Madhya Pradesh a hub of the film sector. Madhya Pradesh is an important place for filmmaking due to attractive locations, cultural diversity and Ease of filming here. In this session, Additional Chief Secretary Dubey, Chairman FICCI Ashish Kulkarni, CEO Kayra Private Limited Arpit Dubey, Founder Biand Studios Bharat Bhushan, Director and Co-Creater Turtle Purple Purple Adarsh Technosoft Private Private Limited Manish Rajauria, Partner Media and Entertainment Evai Raghav Anand and SBP Customers Production Raif Peter James Reapper joined.
The session concluded with MP Innovist Start-up Pitching Competition, where the emerging start-up presented her innovation to a prestigious panel of investors and venture capitalists. Start-ups like Jamna Health Tech Private Limited, AII Private Limited, Novoage Private Limited participated in this competition. The competition provided a platform to get the startup funding and pursue its start-up.
Representatives of major companies of industry were present at the summit. Major companies such as LTI Mindatry, Panchsheel Realty, Digital Conversion Technologies, Secure Circits, Amber Enterprises, Tholons, Beyond Studios, Himadri Specialty Chemicals and Telegal Business Private Limited were included. These companies showed deep interest in expanding their operations in the state. Additionally, a strategic settlement memorandum (MoU) was signed with global technology giants such as IBM, Barclay, Microsoft, VLSI and LTI Mindtree to strengthen the state’s IT and electronics ecosystems.
