Indian players will be seen in IPL, preparations for Test series during this time, Plan is making BCCI

New Delhi
Team India is currently playing the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. After this, Indian players will be seen directly in the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL. However, during the IPL 2025, Indian players may also have to fulfill many more responsibilities. Except for the first week of January, Team India has played only white ball cricket, but after IPL 2025, India has to go to England tour, where a five -match Test series will be played. Preparations for this series also want to board the board.

After the Champions Trophy, there will be cricket in the IPL with a white ball in the IPL for two months. In such a situation, players may also have to participate in red ball activities. According to the report of Cricbuzz, during the Board of Control for Cricket in India i.e. BCCI IPL session, players are working on a strategy to stay connected with Test cricket, red ball format. It is likely that the players can also be asked to participate in the practice session of the red ball occasionally, as the tour of England is important.

The BCCI aims to break the series defeat from New Zealand and Australia. The IPL will run from 22 March to 25 May. About 25 days later, the Indian team has to play a five -match Test series in England. The first match will be played in Headingley from 20 June. The exact details of how the scheme will be implemented is being kept confidential, but some initial meetings regarding the overlapping system have already been held.

In collaboration with the BCCI planners, there was a discussion among the prominent people of the Indian team management in Dubai, where the players are currently busy with the Champions Trophy campaign. After the Indo-Pakistan match in Dubai on Sunday, there was a brief discussion on the roadmap of these mixed activities among the decisionrs. Additional meetings are expected to be held after the conclusion of the Champions Trophy on 9 March. The IPL is going to start after less than two weeks. The BCCI allows the players to focus on playing for their franchisees during the IPL, but this time things may be slightly different.

The reason for concern for the BCCI is that most of the series India have played in England after the IPL have lost in series. India lost the series 4–0 in 2011, won 3–1 hosts in 2014 and Team India suffered a 4–1 defeat in 2018. However, the series played in 2021 and 2022 ended at a par at 2–2. This is why BCCI is considering the new scheme.
