Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has imagined the developed India year-2047. The role of cities will be important in achieving this goal. He said that the central government will help the state for all possible help for the urban development employed in Madhya Pradesh. Union Minister Khattar was addressing a session organized on the Unlocking Lend Value organized by the Urban Administration on Tuesday at the Global Investors Summit.
Union Urban Affairs Minister Khattar said that the three policy issued for the planned development of cities in Madhya Pradesh is an important step taken by the state government. He said that there is a lot of potential for the development of cities in Madhya Pradesh. For the overall development of cities, the state government will have to pay special attention to cities with dense population. Referring to Bhopal, Indore Metro Line, he said that the metro line should be expanded in such a way that every section of the society can get the benefit of this. He also insisted on preparing a detailed plan in the development of Metro Politon City. Union Minister Khattar said that the growing urban population should be assessed in the correct manner. Referring to the transport of the urban area, he said that the central government is encouraging environmental protection through electric vehicle policy. He gave the benefit of carbon emissions control and carbon credit The need for widespread propagation of incentive policy was stated.
Investment will be encouraged for the development of urban areas
Urban Development and Housing Minister Vijayvargiya said in the session that efforts are being made to increase sources of income in urban bodies in the state. He said that the recently released Integrated Township policy will allow the cities to develop overall. He informed that in the new policies related to housing, many concessions have been given to developers and builders. He gave information about the re-development of the land of Hukumchand Mill Indore by the state government. Minister Vijayvargiya said that the cities of the state will be made green. Builders and developers who place green arrears in the colony will be given concession by the state government. In today’s session, MP Integrated Policy, Reconstruction and Madhya Pradesh Housing Re-Development Policy were discussed. Principal Secretary Urban Administration Sanjay Kumar Shukla informed that administrative officials will now discuss with builders and developers every 3 months. He said that the single window system of local bodies will be made more transparent. Cooperative Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Minister of State for Urban Administration Smt. Pratima Bagri and Bhopal Mayor Mrs. Malti Rai were specially attended the program.
Discussion with mayors
Union Minister Khattar and Urban Development Minister Vijayvargiya discussed with the mayors of the municipal corporations of the state. He said that to create an Adarsh Municipal Corporation, local bodies will have to pay attention to increasing income.
