A cinema hall caught fire in the famous Select City Mall in Saket, Delhi. After getting information about this incident on Wednesday (26 February), six fire brigade vehicles reached the spot. The fire was controlled. Delhi Fire Service gave information about this. There was a stir in the select City Mall in the capital Delhi when a fire broke out in a cinema hall in this mall at 5:44 pm on Wednesday. The information regarding this incident was given by the Mall administration to the Delhi Police and the Fire Department. After this, 6 fire tenders were sent to the spot. The fire brigade team managed to control the fire while working promptly.
No casualties in the fire incident
According to the information, the fire was located in the screen of the PVR Audi-3 cinema located in the select City Mall. It is a matter of relief that there is no loss of life in this incident and all people are safe. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but there was not much crowd in the mall at the time of the incident, which saved a big accident.
Vicky Kaushal’s film ‘Chhava’ was screening
It is being told that the person who took this accident was going on a screening of actor Vicky Kaushal’s famous film ‘Chhava’ on PVR screen number 3. During this, a sudden fire broke out on the screen. There was a stampede among the people watching the movie in the cinema hall. However, due to many exit gate in the cinema hall, everyone easily got out of the cinema.
General situation restored in select city mall
After extinguishing the fire, the situation was inspected by the fire brigade and the officials were informed about the security measures in the mall. Currently, the normal situation in the mall is restored. Giving information, Delhi Fire Service director Atul Garg said, “There is no information about any casualty in this whole incident. The fire was very small on which fire personnel could control it shortly. Let us know that about 60 people died tragically in the 1997 fire in Delhi’s gift cinema hall.
