In the Delhi Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister (Chief Minister) Rekha Gupta introduced the CAG Report on Excise Policy 2024. After LG’s address, the CAG report on the liquor policy was presented in the House. All 14 pending reports of CAG were presented by the Delhi government.
The report states that Delhi has suffered a loss of Rs 2026 crore (2026 Crore RS) due to the Wrong Liquor Policy of the Aam Aadmi Party. Political outfits continue in New Delhi. During the address of LG Vinay Kumar Saxena of Delhi on the second day of the House in the Delhi Assembly on Tuesday, MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party started creating a ruckus. There was a strong uproar in the Delhi Assembly for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
The Aam Aadmi Party is aggressive accusing the Chief Minister’s office of removing pictures of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh. Opposition MLAs shouted slogans during the address of LG VK Saxena. After this, about 14 MLAs, including Atishi, have been suspended from the proceedings of the House for the whole day and all the suspended MLAs have come out of the Delhi Assembly and sat on the dharna. After exiting the House, former Chief Minister and opposition leader Atishi sat on a dharna with her MLAs.
He started shouting slogans by taking a photo of Ambedkar in his hand. Atishi said in a conversation with the media, ‘The Bharatiya Janata Party has replaced Narendra Modi in place of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s photo. Narendra Modi has been put in the Chief Minister’s office where Ambedkar used to have a picture. This has also been done in the offices of ministers of Delhi government. I want to ask the BJP that do you think Narendra Modi is older than Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, have you become so ego. The Aam Aadmi Party demonstrated against this. We will continue to perform from the road to the House until their pictures are returned.
The Aam Aadmi Party claims that pictures of Bhimrao Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh have been removed from the Chief Minister’s office. On Monday, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called the media in the office and showed that pictures of both great men are still there. However, the place was seen to be changed. Pictures of Mahatma Gandhi, President and Prime Minister are now behind the CM’s chair, while on one side there are pictures of Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh on the other side. A day earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs raised slogans in the assembly.
