Due to good tomato yield in other states, farmers of the state are not able to send tomatoes to the mandis of other states. The situation has become such that tomato crops in the fields have started to rot. Due to cheap prices and low demand, farmers of Ludeg area are crying tears of blood.

The expenditure in hybrid tomato cultivation is somewhat more, especially on pesticides. However, this farming is more profitable. Hybrid tomatoes are commonly cultivated by mulching method, which proves beneficial for plants.
In this, nursery of tomato seeds is first prepared, which is prepared by keeping 15 to 20 days. After this, preparations are made for the field, in which cow dung or vermi compost manure is added and plowing 2-3 times. Then beds are made in the field and plastic mulch is laid. After this, tomato plants are planted. After planting, irrigation of plants is necessary, and when the plants grow up, they are tied with a bamboo cord. Tomato fruits begins in about 60-65 days.

A hectare requires 250-300 grams of seeds for hybrid tomatoes. Writer loam soil is required for this farming. Proper care of the fields is also important, which includes plants with a rope or bamboo.
