In the name of farewell to the students of class 12th, 11 students of Atmanand School Batauli, who stunted in a four -wheeler on the streets of Ambikapur city, have been identified. All these students have been instructed to suspend with immediate effect. Instructions have been given to the Principal to take reply by issuing notice to the parents of the students concerned. If the answer is not satisfactory, it has also been instructed to mention it on the character certificate of the students and to deprive the upcoming examination. With the said order issued by the District Education Officer, their parents along with the students are also in trouble. Some videos broadcast on internet media on Wednesday. In these fast-broadcasting videos, students were seen doing stunts on the streets of the city. Bottles of liquor were also seen in the hands of a few students. It was taken seriously by Collector Vilas Bhoskar. On his instruction, District Education Officer Ashok Sinha had sought a report from the principal of Batauli Atmanand School. The principal confirmed the involvement of school children in his report. He claimed that the farewell ceremony was formally held till 2 pm. After that, the children were discharged for pre -examination preparation by advising them to go home. The identity of 11 children was ensured based on the video broadcast by him. On the basis of this report, District Education Officer Ashok Sinha has issued a letter to the Principal of Batauli Atmanand School and ordered the concerned students to suspend the school on the allegation of indiscipline and deprive the annual examination 2025.

Collector angry, education department’s image is tarnished
District Education Officer Ashok Sinha has issued a letter to Rajesh Gupta, Principal of Swami Atmanand School Batauli. It has been mentioned that students studying in class 12th of the school had stunted a four -wheeler in the ring road and national highway of Ambikapur city. A video of waving a bottle of wine in his hand has aired. It falls under the category of serious indiscipline, violation of the rules of the Transport Department and the category of misconduct. This indiscipline has tarnished the image of the department. There is dissatisfaction in the public towards the school.

Collector Surguja has also expressed deep displeasure over the incident and instructions have been given to suspend the students involved in the incident from the school. The District Education Officer has ordered the principal that students who have been identified should be suspended from the school immediately. Explanation should be taken from their parents. If the answer is not found satisfactory, it should be mentioned in the character certificate of the students and deprived of appearing in the upcoming examination.
