The Mumbai Cyber Cell has sent a show cause notice to the ticket agency for organizing rapper Honey Singh in Maharashtra. It is accused of selling tickets without writing names for the concert.
Why did cyber cell show strictness?
Ticket agencies were warned by the Mumbai Cyber Cell over the black marketing of the ticket. Recently, Jaumate Ticketing Platform again sold tickets without writing names, due to the upcoming concert of singer Honey Singh, due to which the head of Mumbai Cyber Cell, Yashasvi Jaiswal sent him a show cause notice and sought his reply.
Such a case has happened even before this
During the ‘coldplay band’ tour of India, there was an incident of black marketing of tickets for the concert. Due to selling tickets without writing names, people bought tickets in bulk and sold it again in more money. The Mumbai Cyber Cell showed strictness over this dispute. Also, the ticketing platform book Misho and Jomato were instructed to print and sell the buyer’s name on the ticket in large events.

Now whatever is sold to sell tickets for big concerts or big events like cold plays, the name of the buyer should be printed on it: Yashasvi Yadav, Special IG, Maharashtra Cyber Crime#ColdPlay #Maharashtra #REPORTERDIYY pic.twitter.com/abcpujtjmi
